I hope that nobody is hurt or offended by this poem. --------- A foetus inside a womb... Where am I ? It's so dark in here. Who is that? Are you talking to me? Such a lovely voice. You must be my mother. Mother,I feel so warm and cosy living in you. I cant wait to see your lovely face when I'm due. Mother,have you chosen a name for me? Any name will do..as long as you're happy. Mother,what does the outside world look like? It must be very beautiful,I can feel it inside. Mother,why are you crying? Please dont cry,I hate to see you like this. Mother,where are we? The place smells of death and I dont like it. Mother,what is happening? I feel cold and I'm scared. Mother,I see a monster!It's big and shiny. Help me Mother!It's coming nearer! Mother!!The monster had gotten me! Help me please..... Mother...The pain is excruciating... I think I'm dying... Mother,I'm sorry I cant be your little girl anymore... For the monster has killed me.. Ayla....I read this on your web page. I thought it was quite sad, but well written there and again here. I do have one comment though, the word is Fetus. |

Thanks hoot..though about the spelling,I'm using British english.That's why it's spelt as foetus. ------------------ The heart is happiest when it beats for others.. |

Alya, thanks for the explanation....I would have never caught that as may some others not either. I work in Maternity as a RN, that is one word I do know how to spell....LOL ------------------ Man can not discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. |
