I watch the tear drops fall straight down her face As her dear friend is lowered to the ground She does not want to be here in this place And sobbing is her bodys only sound There is no comfort found in the sunlight No warmth derived form all the glowing rays Nor peace found in the beautiful twilight Now sorrow seems to haunt all of her days For one dear soul had left this world so weary No comfort in her grace does this friend find This life to me has become naught but dreary So share a bit of hope I would not mind True pain as with the bee will lose its sting And life will continue in the living |
