The Dance by ©Richard J. Budig 1999 I bow to the ladies And kiss their perfumed hands Good evening My dears Good evening I must leave you now For the last song has played Put away your masks Put on your capes Dying embers in your hearths Bid you home and to bed Farewell, farewell I say I shall not see you again For the dance has ended The musicians have all gone away And the maestro's baton Has run out of time |

Visually stunning, I loved the imagery. I must say you must be quite the gentlemen since you did not escort these lovely ladies home. *L* Aurora's Fire |

First off I am LOL@Aurora This was a neat piece, I loved the imagery! Thanks for a little stop into a life most of us will never experience. X ------------------ "We have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night" (Tombstone epitaph of two amateur astronomers) |
