Musings of Madness

From her words I can clearly see
Verses of a lunacy, she speaks in
Venomously verbose ventriloquy

Feeding rage, attacking indiscriminately
Paranoia and madness, imaginary
Soliloquy of pain etched randomly

Lovers betray, they appear at every turn
In many disguises, under various aliases
Some chemical inbalance within her churns

We witness in sadness and horror
While she accuses innocent onlookers
Insanity rising, this suicidal explorer

How absolutely alone she must feel
Where loving means owning, possessing,
Obsessing, her world surreal, unreal

Self-torturous musing pouring down like rain
Her icy fingers quick on the old typewriter
Torrent of hot tears, anger flowing in her veins

It’s more than you can bear, just sleep now
Pray for guidance, peace in your soul
Ask now, before you have forgotten how
