Your wilted flowers, forgotten and untended, who will bring you flowers now? Your memories are slowly fading. The seeds of tomorrow, forgotten. Who will water them now? For they are left by the sympathy cards, yellowed at the edges. The soil is neglected, so the weeds rise to take over your home, Who will protect your precious memories, now that you've gone? For I have not the energy, since you left me just too soon. Everyone keeps calling, and I know you're in a better place. You never even got the chance to look at your mother's face. They tried to free you, but you just couldn't wait. For you decided that it would be better if you weren't even born. They say I can't have any children now. And my life is just so empty. So, I'll hold onto this pink ribbon for you, I planned to put it in your hair. How could I have known that you would die in my womb? Yes, Carrie, I do miss you, and wished I could have been The mother you would've wanted, and most importantly your friend. |

Very heartbreaking. I'm sorry for your pain. You have expressed it very well. ------------------ Denise |
