I woke this morn
thinking
another day of scorn.
But something had changed,
me
I was no longer engaged
In a life that doesn't serve
my spirit
of what I have longed to deserve.
I woke to feeling myself light
as air
perceptions, visions, new sight.
Able to see me in the mirror
reflections
of a woman-nothing inferior.
All things are possible
growing
inside me-invincible.

Julie, I love this. I have had a day or two like this.....
