Can you spare the time to talk I'd like to listen for a while Hold my hand while we walk Share with me one last smile Will you hold me close Until the pain subsides Can you spare me a minute or two So we can talk and laugh Can we enjoy the view As we look around the park Will you hold me close Until the pain subsides Will you share you with me Our smiles are so rare these days Raise your eyes to mine and see them fuse with fire as they blaze Will you hold me close Until the pain subsides Will you hold me really tight Let me cry till the tears run dry Then hug me till the laughter returns Tell me there was nothing more to try Will you hold me close Until this pain has died? ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions.
