The Change of Time Mother Nature certainly has it right and all her creations heartily agree so why is it humans change with force the Time, and subject it on you and me? Now I’m up before I’m ready willing spirit, but legs unsteady; when tonight I’ll fall apart at eight be in bed by nine, can you relate? I’d rather our own bodies’ clocks follow the natural rhythm it brings, and I would take it to the bank with you it would absolve insanity, and other things. Eating schedules are off, just ask the cows who get milked one hour later, and how their bags must ache for lack of release, for if they could talk, they would say PLEASE... Follow Nature’s natural walk through life, end human suffering, and some strife, and go to bed with the stars and moon as we do quit trying to save time, you’re saving it for who? ©KRJ 2 November 1999 ------------------ Sunshine Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Instead of being ten minutes late all of the time, I am now fifty minutes early. So it isnt all bad. Enjoyed the poem. |

Well done, Sunshine... and cows aren't the only ones with schedules... my kitties now wake me an hour before the alarm clock... it's breakfast time for their tummies no matter what the clock says! LOL |

Wonderful poem, Sunshine! My feelings exactly! But, alas, if I were to follow my natural clock, I'd sleep every day 'till...oh...about 9 or 10 and get to work around...oh...12 or 1 and be ready to go home by around...oh....3 or 4!! 'Twould simply be paradise! At least for me! Again, great poem! ------------------ Denise |
