How do I let you know The way I feel inside? How on earth do I show What I've tried so hard to hide? What I feel is so strong I doubt it will ever be gone. But I've been your friend for so long I know not how to move on. Beyond a friendship, into something more. Fear is so cruel My mind and my heart are at war. But emotions make not a fool. Still to this day, Try though I may, I have no words to say That I need you to show me the way. Can you lead me out of the night, Can you show me what to do? When the words won't come out right, How can I say I love you? ------------------ We are only truly apperciated after we are no more! |

Good for you! I'm glad...I have been told this many times in my life and now I pass it on to you...you will never get anything in life if you don't take a few risks to get there. Thank you Romantic. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Isis...I to know the feeling, however this poem was not written for that reason...it was written as an answer to a visitor's request.
