Dream People

In a land
where hopes and wishes
rule as King and Queen
and where the dreams
of a court jester
become law
of the land
and subjugation requirements
of all Dream People
are at his discretion…
with dreaming mandatory
and listless
mental wandering
encouraged….
Only he has no royal blood lines
nor inheritance of the throne
and is employed as a fool
by the hopes and wishes
he entertains…
