Point Of View

We look at the sunrise together
and both see it clear in our mind.
You see a flame of destruction
while I feel a glow, warm and kind.

The sun, if too close would consume us,
if not it will bathe us in light.
And if we must agree, it will doom us
to choose who is wrong and who right.

I look forward to tomorrow, while looking back on the past. But today is the day I am living. And I expect it to be a great day!
