As I see you from a distance
My heart begins to race
Knowing that I have longed
To see your beautiful face.

As you are getting closer
I say to myself 'today I will say hi'
But I just stare at you, lost in your eyes.
As you pass me by
I cannot utter that one simple word
And I just don't know why
