Poetry is flowing from my fingers today, Perhaps not all of it good, But they are certainly banging on out, I wouldn't stop them if I could!  Words of wisdom too are coming so quickly, Sound advice and even poetic in deliverance, Considering my soul just this morn was sickly, My heart is now overrun with confidence. A pleasant change I can't help but say, For the day when it started for me was so dismal, I'm on top of the world and love everyone in it, Even those who are misreable. This renewed confidence is like a drug or some much longed for power, I can never have enough, So I will relish it and preserve it, And remember it again when things get rough. Which I might add they inevitably do, But that is ok I can face the realities now, And once again I'll muddle through, And find the right road somehow. ------------------ Cast your eyes on the ocean, Every man goes down to his death bearing in his hands only that which he has given away... ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |
