Thoughts on All Saints Day (or Halloween)

something different, not sure if it makes sense to anyone, but it feels good to just let out sometimes.

here upon this lonely hilltop plot
gazing at the stars as music plays before me
sounds of voices mingle in joyous praise
friends both new and old
smiling upon this dark night
filled with mysteries and evil deeds
yet here inside this house upon a lonely hill
no tales of poe will spin inside
no bird will speak his solitary phrase
no screams shall emit from within
I feel good inside just thinking of them
carson, will, ben... guys I'd hang with anytime
ryan, vincent... any of them.
with the eyes of the soul I see only good
people I could trust with my haunted tales
beings who can help me purge the last remnants of darkness
that reside among my spirit
trapped there by my own fear and dread
yet just ghosts that want to be released
chained within my mind as I hold them in
bound by my steadfast grip upon them
so now I simply let go
and the weight of a thousand years falls off
as if it never exsisted
and now, as I gaze at the stars in my head
as the fog fades away beyond the realms of my mind.

James, this was excellent, glad you were able to release those ghosts from the prison in your mind that held them captive. Without those ghosts taunting you everyday you are free to explore your universe with a new sense freedom. cheers to you for succeeding where many collapse in fear.

I like this....to release all those demonds of your past is a good thing. I'm glad you could let go.
