Clenching hands, that won't stop moving Breaking out in dismal sweat Looking at the cancer sticks Feeling them beckon, like a magnet pulls iron (But I was never that strong, I was always cheap aluminum) I don't want to rot my lungs ~~Sweet, sweet nicotine~~ It is a disgusting habit I don't want to break my long two months of breathing clean air ~~Sweet, sweet nicotine~~ Carcinogens, wretched breath, yellow teeth... ~~Sweet sweet nicotine~~ And finally, the craving has passed. For once, I did not give in-I stood my ground. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
