Have you more or less discovered That less is sometomes more ? Can you ignore an empty promise Or do you rush back to the store ? In a "have it all now world" Can you resist the urge to splurge? Or as one possessed by demons Set your bank account on "purge" ? Does the allure of shiny objects Test your resolve to find it lacking ? Could you amass more useless stuff With more financial backing ? Do you still worship at the temple Of the sign that says for sale ? Is "one-upping" the Jones' Your holiest of grails ? Fear not , for you shall know the truth Though it may not set you free . At least you're not the only one That's facing bankruptcy ! ------------------ Sometimes nonsense isn't . |
