Dear poetess, weaver of mystic words,
Each day I read and each time rejoice
Another poem and another verse
Rhymes and reason fill your voice.

Sensual, or comedic, or blue
It matters not if it comes from you
Spun on your web of unspoken words
Truth is resting in each verse.
Each time I read, sometimes I cry
Rejoicing in your words each time.

Once I was brilliant, now I no longer shine, but the twinkle in my eye speaks of another time.

Robert, your mom wants to know what happened to your "shine"...? She read your signature - - thank you so much for this, we just logged on and this was the first thing we saw! WOW, I am honored to see this, and I see you've already gotten some responses! Very very nice acrostic...I liked that you did use some rhyme....We'll be here awhile, so if you're still on, look us up....we're gonna put some of dad's poetry on soon!
