Precious Gesture In my sweetest dreams it's the best part of waking up On my lowest days it's a sure fire pick-me-up Warm, inviting, innocent always real never falsely put on Precious, Beautiful, Heaven sent lovelier than the dawn It puts me on the spot yet I never feel embarrased One of the wonders of the world to be admired and cherished Causing me to see what's going on and hold my impetious state To show me that God's timing is better causing me to wait It can also stop me dead in my tracks during a hectic rush And frankly, my dear, honest to goodness, it even makes me blush Alas, I must cut my sweet reminese, to linger would take a while But I just can't hide what I feel inside when I write about your smile |
