I sat at home and wondered about all the troubles I have met. God gave me a book of instructions, (I just haven’t read it yet.) I say my prayers all the time. (Each time a bill comes in.) I am the perfect Christian. (Except for when I sin.) I sit in church on Sunday. (At least three times a year.) I spread his words "God Bless You" (For every sneeze I hear.) I’m having such a hard time. I wonder where God’s been? Maybe he’s been waiting for me to come to him. ------------------ Not all poems I write are about me personally, yet they do come from MY soul. |

hehe Dear sweet Lucie...this made me laugh - but at least you're honest!! LOL I know, it's not funny, but it's comical through your eyes, cause I know you're a great clown. Sometimes, the best way to get through the hard times is to try and laugh your way through 'em! Remember that poem of mine titled, "Toilet Bowl of Lies"...my soul was tearing inside when I wrote that, but after doing so, and laughing at what I'd written, it seemed to keep me sane, and I didn't "hurt" anybody!
