A gentle smile and beautiful eyes They get me each and every time But this time it stayed This time it remained I'm not rightly sure How to tell you these things Without making you run away From the promises I bring I understand your heart Is not here It resides with someone else This is what I feared You must feel deeply For this one lucky guy He won you over so easy He didn't have to try Call it fate Or whatever you will But I need not debate I care for you still I know deep within And I think you do too It'll be more than friends Between me and you Label me crazed For caring so much I shall not be fazed By something of the such Its happiness That I do wish For you, fair princess So, slip me a kiss… ------------------ ~^~^~The Keeper Of Keys~^~^~ To be nobody but yourself--In a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you like everybody else--Means to fight the hardest battle any human being can fight, and never stop fighting. |

You've done a wonderful job with this poem Keeper....I loved the last two lines...nicely done!! ------------------ It is better to be silent and be considered a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. |
