Take away the degrees
Take away the titles
Take away the accomplishments
What is discovered at your core?
What is your special spark?
Buried deep, neglected, perhaps you've chosen to ignore?

Seeking to please whomever
Drowning out pure longings from your heart
Struggling, freezing, Suffocating
Until finally you choose to start

Whispers from the Spirit
Siren songs from deep within
After dancing, stranger among strangers
Claim it! Your Life! Begin!

I do agree with this piece, to a point.

Your words impress upon me
That some how some way
Within me you can see
Your words brighten my day

While I'm not the model
For this wonderful poem
The story that it tells
Does strike close to home.

I always appreciate the positive tone of your messages both poems and essays. GREAT JOB!
