Once more boldly to the fray , should I take it serious
I lived to fight another day , though at times delirious
A task some others I've heard say , they have found most ominous
Their words of caution hold no sway , with fools I am synonymous
To be successful at this task , one must have the impetus
For that and talent I do ask , may spirit deliver us

Hidden 'neath this confident mask , I've doubts enough for all of us
I'll pour some courage from this flask , small nothing too serious
A bit of wit quite smartly so , should provide the impetus
'Til with heady power juices flow, loquatious not delirious
Masterful talents I will show , with the best I'll be synonymous
With new inspired bravado , the results but can be ominous

I've yet to see that which I seek, now this could be ominous
Another sip from vessel sleek , this one should be calming us
Words of wisdom I must speak , great insights viewed synonymous
To falter is only for the weak , concentration's taken serious
I am my own master I know these things , think me not delirious
Flush with talent spirit brings , it lends to me it's impetus

The words spout forth with truthful ring , of greatly spirited impetus
With sage advice Dionysius sings , his words my voice makes ominous
" Beware the curse of curs and kings" me thinks him quite delirious
Others words now have no sting ,my concern is but for one of us
Glass raised to lips with frequent sips , I set to business serious
Damn Dionysius' dullards quips, with Hieronymus I'm synonymous !

More cup than quill with-in my grip , what I think synonymous
Mirrors skill begun to slip , fueled by spirit's impetus
Begun as folly simple sport , to this fool now is serious
Dionysius' cruel retort , words common thus not ominous
In crossed lines they do cavort , meanings oft' eluding us
Perhaps another little snort , deluded not delirious

Last cup drained pen restrained , by laughter
most delirious
Nothing ventured nothing gained ,Ignoronimus synonymous
Addle-pated paper stained , by spirit spilt in front of us
Eyes un-focused on table trained , to defy our floor bound impetus
It is done fait accompli , more than one most ominous
What will be has coursed through me , who cannnot see what's serious

Deliriously I will dream , of having had the impetus
And having thus done this to us , insidiously
serious
I hail to Dionysius , synonymous with ominous

Doesn't your brain hurt after attempting (and accomplishing) these things?! Mine would! Thanks for the laughter!
