Another man in your eye. Those feelings you gave, Right now I crave, Your love I suppose, Like a book, has closed. My heart, it bangs, So slow I'm damned, Your face I see, It fills me with glee. Then you walk by, Another man in your eye, What can I do, To not lose you. Right now I need, Your love so, indeed, Please don't go, I love you so, I need you to stay, With me, night and day. The hurt thats caused, Brings my life to a pause I beg of you, my darling please, Do not go, do not leave…. |

This was well written. As for the theme of the poem, I have just this to say. anyone that would have another in their eye does not deserve to have you. Be sure that if there is another, once that one is gone, someone else will fill the space. Know that you are worth so much more then that. |
