He may not be a poet
With lines that amuse
He may not be a scholar
with diplomas showing dues
He may not enlighten
With his complicated views
But can fix the car by seven
Have the wash out on the line
Grass mowed by eight thirty
And breakfast done by nine

He may not tell a joke right
The punch lines over looked
And popular Mechanic maybe
his favorite kind of book!
But if he's got a dollar
You've got fifty cents
And if your fence needs men den
Fixed is what it gets!

He my not know astrology
Edgar Allen or Van Gouh
He may not use the salad fork
He thinks that its for show!
And bush maybe his favorite choice
When its time to order wine
But standing six foot seven
The light bulbs get replaced
And teaching his sons the simple things
Brightens up his face

A master at mechanics
A third class engineer
He keeps the old cars running
And the essentials working here!
Never has a harsh word, patience by the score
And here my friends you have it
The man that I adore

For my Honey...

Gee Tori! Sounds like you were describing me? Well, except for the "being able to fix cars" and that yard mowing, and the breakfast thinggie, and the six foot seven, and sharing my last dollar, and the never a harsh word, and having patience etc....but...other than those few things I'm just like that?....LOL.....very well done gal!!!!

I loved it. I know someone just like that, but you said it best! He seems to be a lucky man to have you, and you a lucky woman to have him. I can sense the True Love between the two of you by reading this! How Wonderful!
