HURT

When we walked side by side, there was a feeling I knew which felt like gold
Now I'm alone & you seem to hide, my heart feels hurt, bitter & cold
The pain & anguish which I hold deep within
Will last forever, for my pain and my sin.

No matter what I try to say or do,
Everything around me seems dreary & blue
Your life to me was more important than mine,
Now I know my life is a waste of time.

There is a great big hole that fills my day,
Caused by the things that I need you to say.
The time I loved and needed so much,
Is a long time gone along with your touch.

There was a time I knew when my heart would glow,
That feeling has gone, for good now I know…..
