I stood on the shore
icy frothy waves splashing over my toes
face upwards - naked
the wind sending my hair
into a dance all its own
the sun setting lent magic to the end
blending colours of day and night
the dreams of yet another day
came trampling through my mind
as one with the rhythm of the waves
the wind carried my voice
rising up and down like seagulls
into the icy frothy waves
that rolled over my bare toes
on the shore
alone upon the ocean's floor....

Now lemme make sure I've got this right... you're standing naked by the sea... in desperate need of a Toerag to comfort your icy toes... among other things... and then you dance and shriek in delight??? *G* Or did the seagull drop a bombshell on your dancing hair? Is that it? LOL. Hunh????

Seriously, Rainbow... this is lovely... Well done!!!

Naked with feet in the ocean, in England!!! In October!!

You'll ffffffreeze!

Well written though.

I'd rather you guffaw than grieve.
I'd rather your dear heart you leave
Here with people that love you,
Understand when you feel blue.
I'd rather you learn to believe
That, no matter how wobbly, a smile
Can lighten your load for a while.
So, my friend, don't you frown
I'll be playing the clown
Cheering you on every mile.
So as you stand there by the sea
Know I wish you were dancing with glee,
That your laughter be heard
Disturbing those birds
And that from all sorrow you're free.

(Imp... that's a compliment, right? *G*)

Well, that explains the legend of Loch Ness!! Kidding, Rainbow!!!! The thought of you standing there at the water's edge wearing a smile and nothing else, screaming that the water was too cold, is more than a faint heart can experience. Take pictures.
