Writing is just a thing I do
to pass the time and use my pen
because it's not as used as it had been
Just remember pens have feelings too

I write of thoughts and dreams I have
as I lay me down to sleep
and  of course  I have to keep
everything that is happy  well wrote  and sad

We have but time to write
and dream  and love  and live
So I wrote

Really?

I happen to like the "pens" line, but the rest of it seems rather bland to me.
