The scarring of my heart proceeds apace. Impassioned venom my words do relate. Fantasies of love comprise my disgrace. Loyalty lies with the self I do hate. On ignorance will happiness depend. Untold suffering welcomes my embrace. For the love of my life I will contend. In daydreams I see her angelic face. Love engulfs the heart in winding despair. Betrayal of self is highest treason. For one thing in life do I truly care. I reached out for love against all reason. Unwarranted hope, hate cannot destroy. For her, wicked spite does part like a veil.
