He chooses not to see the darkened demise he's deaf to her plea of love chastised. The only feeling left inside is to pick at his bones hoping soon he'll die, his heart hard as stones. Empty promises he makes only to turn around and make the same mistakes he has once again found. Sorry comes easy to him, ignorance guaranteed to follow; better? lotto she's more likely to win his anger is a villain she must swallow. A man with only one notion inside to escape the fear lurking behind the door rushing to work so he can hide never wanting his wife even more. One day his wife will no longer be there not a whimper or warning; this will be her glee for she too will run out of care because she also chooses not to see. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- Almost all our misfortunes in life come from the wrong notions we have about the things that happen to us. >Stendhal |

So sad, Julie. That head in the sand syndrome - I'm quite familiar with. It helps for awhile, but it's not a solution. Hang in there. Listen to your heart. I wish you the best. Your friend ------------------ Denise |
