Blinding strikes
savagely
embrace prey
with fluid coils
wrapping terror
within ever-tightening
death

Cold dispassion
glitters
in soulless eyes
lips turn up
with inviting smile
as mannequin stillness
enshrouds

Elegant grace
ensconced
and enfleshed
ripples
and writhes
with effortless wildness
apparent
in each
motion

Widening maw
shows vice-like mouth
inset
with glittering needles
contrasting
the argent ebony
of glossy scale
