In the night my restless heated dream meanders down crazy lanes then takes flight above a somber thought In a frightened heartbeat I ride a demon’s roller coaster circling with the malice of laughter intent on speed gripping at corners slipping my hold climbing, climbing ‘til I plummet down into the echo of a scream Heart pounding I reach out to your sleep deep tenderness breathe your breath know your hand lost in the soft beguile of my back You feel me warm on warm then take me to a oneness safe and soft and I come home to you |
