There was just one thing I really wanted to do
Read every poem - and now I am through.
Forget all my work, forget even lunch!
The poems beckoned and I had a hunch
The effort would be well worth my time
For the people here are the masters of rhyme.
And just as I’d figured, each one was a treasure.
Reading this morning has been a true pleasure.

Well done, poets. I do love this place! I wasn’t able to comment on each and every poem, but I did appreciate the immense talent. Keep up the great work!

You're right, Suthern.
BTW....I kinda cheated though. You see, I was gone for a while and when I returned it was almost impossible to catch up on all the wonderful work here. Honestly, it was down-right overwhelming. So, when the thingymagiggy (oops) broke again, I was able to begin again and this time (crossing fingers) I should be able to keep up. WHEW WEEEE!!!

Oh, I'm a bit scared too...um...I tried to post this and I thought it broke again. Let's hope I can get this through and not have repeats...repeats....repeats....

And we thank you suthern for the treasures you have given us.

Why, Michael... thank you SO much... I'm not often speechless, but you almost accomplished the impossible! *G*

Sally: I know what you mean about being scared... yesterday was the first time I'd posted a poem in a couple of weeks... and the whole forum disappeared! LOL

Toerag: Thanks, sweetie... words like that from the top of the class are really special! *G*
