Twas the night before school And all through the house Not a creature was stirring Not even the mouse The children were quiet And all snug in their beds With visions of Passions Floating in their heads Now I was confident That all was well So I was off to bed To sleep for a spell I had just laid down When all of a sudden I heard a noise And I went a'runnin And what did I see When I burst in the den? The kids were on The computer again "Now kids," I said "It's after three Can't you wait till tomorrow To read poetry?" "NO," they cried In unison "Don't make us get off The computer again!" I tapped my foot And narrowed my eyes Then what they said Made me gasp in suprise "Mom, we have a problem Why can't you see? We're hopelessy addicted To PiP!" ------------------ "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." -Billy Corgan- |

Thanks again everyone for the replies. The idea for this one came to me while I was trying to sleep....so I ran downstairs, jotted it on paper, briefly considered posting it then, but I couldn't see straight,I was so tired, so I just waited for the next day. ------------------ "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." -Billy Corgan- |
