Just Like You

Tear stained faces
as destinies woe
takes aim
accidentally.
Shattering innocent
dreams instantly
that once
were to be
future.

Take us far
expose your plan
explain
the pain away.
Cross over
see my world
know I'm just
like you.

Walk with me,
talk with me,
hold me
in your arms.
Never let me
faulter
while evil
forces attempt
pounding
at my door.

johnt300: Thank you very much.

WhtDove: I wrote this for a friend who's daughter just had a miscarriage. I felt really sad for them. Glad you liked it.

Nicely done
