You say the words I would want to hear
But the words I hear are not the same
Behind the vocie I hear them say
It's never going to be that way

You have not known love this I know
No hand to hold you close like mine
No whisper of words in your ear
The little words that you hold dear

You blindly follow a heartless love
Left behind is a vacant heart
No matter what I want to say
It's never going to be that way

I love the rhyme scheme. The way the first two lines in the each stanza do not rhyme but the last two do. That is pretty cool. It makes for a different rhythm which flows beautifully.
I like the second stanza. What you say is so true about relationships in general. We don't always know how that other person totally feels. Usually one person always feels a little more than the other.
Great poem.
