you are the great wall built to keep people out but I wonder- did you realize that no one would ever be allowed to leave? you keep your memories alive feeding the fire of your past dwelling upon the things that can never be again and I'm here offering you the future holding out a hand for you to grasp; your fortress has been up too long and you've forgotten how to unlock the gate but I keep running- searching looking for a way in looking for the key Always I am banging my head against the wall around your heart Always I am begging for a chance to be let in- |

I like this one for personal reasons. Let's just say I can identify. -the muse- ------------------ "Thought is the greatest of pleasures..." - Gustave Flaubert |

This strikes way too close to home for me. Do we know each other? |

Nice work...kind of reminds me of an old song by The Gratefull Dead....the title escapes me now(it is a womans name), but the last two lines are: "no one may enter, "cause no one may leave" |

Sounds like someone i know...but you couldn't possibly be referring to me...so i'll just congratulate you on finding the right words to express the walls of steel that don't let us in... |
