"Thought I knew myself so well all the dolls I had...took my leather off the shelf, your apocalypse was fab for a girl who couldn't choose between the shower and the bath..." Tori Amos: Hey Jupiter Past: I must of slept; my moon was still grinning at me, like some crazy chesire cat but fainter now, almost dim-winked out of sight and I remember when I bought this moon, how you laughed at me telling me not to waste my time or my money on such a useless thing- Present: But I've always been a silly girl buying silly things and falling too easily before looking to see on whom or on what she was going to land; Future: But I did sleep because now it's glow is gone just a trace of neon green against my wall- I did sleep tonight or else I had my eyes shut tight to keep myself to keep myself from dreaming of you. "No ones picking up the phone guess it clear- he's gone and this little masochist is lifting up her dress guess I thought I could never feel the things I feel and...hey Jupiter." -------------- lyrics reprinted without permission [This message has been edited by Christina Myers (edited 07-03-99).] |

Interesting piece of work, and may I say something? People can't tell you what is useless, because there might be a use to it that they aren't aware of. Those glow-in-the-dark planet and stars aren't useless to one's imagination, especially a child's imagination. I used to have glow-in-the-dark objects on my room's ceiling for ten years, and when that wasn't enough, I could always look out my window at the stars and falling snow outside. I loved this piece of work, thanks for sharing it with us. [This message has been edited by Artur Hawkwing (edited 07-03-99).] |

Thanks Artur... and yes, that was sort of my point...what is useless to one- (love, a heart, even a glow in the dark moon) may have a lot of meaning to another. at one with her silliness- (finally!) Christina [This message has been edited by Christina Myers (edited 07-03-99).] |
