Way up on a stony hill 60 men prepare to fight An armoured battle. 3 stand watch, their hearts a pumping As they put their Lives at risk They fight for their country Scotland the Brave Against the England soldiers One man to lead them home again William Wallace Is his name. Powerful his voice can be As he yells across his hills of home "You can take away our land, but you can't take away our freedom!" Forever the phrase is remembered still In the hearts and minds of all who cared. About the man who risked his life, and died For he was Brave. The man who risked his life, Still stands upon those hills And calls upon the barren land Scotland is Free Scotland is Brave And forever it will be. ------------------ ------------------ ~*JuLiEt*~ |

I like this JuLiEt. I want to visit Scotland some day, so this held a little bit of special interest, I guess. I saw the movie "Braveheart", and this is right up there with it. |
