I thought this time it would be different between you and me, But once again you’ve proved, you can’t let her be. Now I sit here by myself, holding onto pain, As I listen to the rain calling out your name. A cloud of tears I’ve cried, since you said goodbye. You told me it was over, told me she had gone away. But you made a choice, that was all you would say; The day you turned from me when you left on the train. All I could do was listen to the rain calling out your name. A cloud of tears I’ve cried, since you said goodbye. My life will go on I WILL survive again But when the showers start, I find that’s when I listen to the rain calling out your name. A cloud of tears I’ve cried, since you said goodbye. |
