I sit upon the ocean floor And look above where clouds adorned My mother moon in all her jewels Was then the Lady Pale arrived She scold me of my earthly lies Her hands did wave the winds of east Her eye's gazed out blasting pain Then, I knew this was my end Her arms did wake my mother moon Her blood spent tears came, oh, too soon I thought I felt her cold hard hand But was fear of, that truth on ran My life of woe as me did fright, By this cold moonlit cloudy night Her Face so pale expressions no Her ghostly posture seem to flow To the ocean floor where I sat There was nothing wrong, she would let me forget It was hard to tell her gown form skin The white of pale all blended in I felt the chill of cold hard breeze Yet herd the rustle of the trees Imagine how I could here these trees As I sat upon the ocean floor, Its the waves of torment bringing more My earthly lies would never end My mind gave in to the smallest glimpse For life I knew in beauty spent The fragments of past just zoomed on by In Seconds they seemed to fly With sounds of echo ringing in, The truth of all my earthly sins The Pale Lady continued on I shall never see the break of dawn Forgiveness comes never more This is where I am to be In torment for eternity copyright tori 1996 _____________________________________________ When the seasons of sweet silent thought I summon up remembrance of things past, I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought, And old woes new wail my dear time's waste.
