Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, 'fire star' it means, although bright, through folklore I look above through yearless eyes at stars I love; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, golden stars of fire, of ire, of light, where elvish dreams doth rest above rimming moon shining acrest; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, 'round green trees, 'round the sky, where midnight masses gather and sing of things proud and fair; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, flame in the void, light in darkness amidst red rocks lifeless and river glimmering rideless; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, a river in the sky, a stairway to heaven, amidst dank pebbles in the stream as moonlight strikes the land with a beam; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, in the ancient tongue of Elvish maidens, from Isildur, 'dark moon' to 'Queen of the Stars', Elbereth; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, a remnant of times lost, of old, of music played by harps, of celestial songs, the stars which conquer all, still longs; Nar'el, nar'el burns this night, Nar'el, nar'el burns this night. ------------------ Artur Hawkwing....
