The spider scampered high on the limb The swampman knew his outlook was grim Remembering his umbrella, it would protect him From the poisonous bite, that soon could infect him Caught unexpected, he uttered an oath Just before an alligator swallowed them both Rubbing its belly, sighing in content The gator laughed at the twisted event Tis a poem I wrote in ole creative writing 101 The exercise was that ole teach gave us this ridiculous list o words and we had to use them all. No lyin! |

sometimes those annoying assignments can actually bring forth something very nice! I like this one a lot... you created a picture with words you did not choose...and that takes talent. -C |
