Hero Of My Heart You have always been a fighter right from the very start But you never had to battle to get into my heart Your face was like the angles kissed it from above And the battles that you conquered were filled with God's true love He almost had you Heaven bound but allowed for you to stay And for that my love I thank him each and everyday! Thunder cats and He- Man filled the house with joy, to make way for the wrestlers and the X- Men you adored Yes you were the hero that chased the bad away A truly gallant fighter with courage by the score, yet everytime the card was up you came back for more Always taking seconds to let others have their way With honor did you make it as the hero of the day That little girl who kissed your "Yip's" so, so long ago, dose not know what she has missed if only just to see you, would tell her so That the hero in the shadow has grown to be a man, as handsome as is charming, still a gallant fighter with courage and in command So many times you've told me of things you've come to know But have I told you how much you've taught me? and how I love you so? A luckier mom you'll never find None prouder if you search The Hero in the shadow not hardly would I say You are the hero of my life time who stole my heart away!
