Down South we have many a salutation.
"Morning, how r-u-doing?"
Will bring inventive explanations.
You may be sorry for pursing.

"Only tolerable"is one reply.
If so, this would be our fate-
We probably won't die
But we're ready to set the date!

Maybe the answer is "Just fair."
We are not great
But not ready for the rocking chair.
We're not in too bad a shape.

"Loosing ground."
Then we've been on top
But now we've found
We've lost our spot.

Then there is "Fair-to-Middlen."
You might say "just Ok."
Sort of in the middle
We're kind of blase.

What we want to be is motorvatin'.
Best of all states.
Practically levitatin'.
If only this were always our fate!

Now them folks know how to talk!!! LOL. Set a spell... take a load off!

Definitely better than fair-to-middlin' work!
