My Pure and Unspoiled Anger Within the clamorous, thunderous din Of platitudes decayed, A fortress did I build around My pure and unspoiled anger. Defiant of those civilized, yet Mercenary minds Whose predatory visions would Defile my pristine rage, I locked my passions dark and deep Behind those solemn walls, And ruled as solitary king The palace of my fury. But breeding only with themselves, My wrathful echoes died; I stalk the vacuous corridors, A beast trapped in a cage. -Haskins more at : http://www.ionstorm.com/public/haskins/inner_sanctum.htm |

The gentle sprite turned at the sound of his splendid wrathful screams anger filled his lonely cage and haunted all his dreams. She drew near and touched his cheek facing the furious beast His eyes widened at her daring his howling suddenly ceased. She smiled at him with innocence melting, now, the majestic rage his visage changed from angry beast to love-smitten, poetic sage. |
