Once upon a warm blizzard's night. I looked into the lion's soul full of fright. He spoke accusing of dastardly deeds. And my heart hung down amidst the weeds. Although I crouched attempting to hide His eyes pierced deeper and deeper inside. Flipping through the files in my brain. Which I could no longer contain. He was trying guilty an innocent man Whom he'd rather maim than believe in. Father, get out of my head. I sometimes wish that you were dead. Standing upright and firm from a dangling tree. I'd simply laugh when you'd try to get free. But you'll never be free of me the tree. I'll strangle you with my memory. And only then will you see. That you'll never be free of me. Take a chunk out of your heart so everyone can see the cancerous black. And give it to me, 'cause its my favorite midnight snack. Then look in the mirror and watch your face melt. As you face the wrath of my poison belt. Taste the sweetness of its soothing sting And cry out with your voice and sing. Of the redemption that I've rightfully won. And of me,...your loving son. ------------------ Luke Cakalic |

That's exactly what its about. I was kind of wary to put this one up on the forum because it was so intense, to me at least. Anyway, thankyou. ------------------ Luke Cakalic |

Most of the time I write what I feel. I hope this is not the case for you here. The feeling of hate and the desire for retribution are far to tangible for me to believe there is not some modicum of truth behind your words. Your writing has given me pause to think and emotions to consider. My highest praise. Andrew [This message has been edited by Andrew Scott (edited 06-25-99).] |
