Silent voices, screaming in my mind
Trying to show me truth of what lies behind
The doors of life and all the reasons
Why after death, there's still changing seasons

And now I lay me down to sleep
The path of righteoisness I will seek
The Lord is with me, while even in bed,
Helping me fight the demons within my head

They call to me, while asleep or awake
They're the winds that cause my soul to shake
I feel like I'm battling a raging river
Trying to reach the man that's in the mirror.

The Lord is here and guiding me
Through all the snares that I can't see
Without Him here, I know I'd fail
I'd fall away from the given trail

Jesus loves me
This I know
For on the Cross
He told me so
All His children
Gathered 'round
To see Him wear
That painful crown
Yes, Jesus loves me
He arose to tell me so

------------------
does anybody know
does anybody care
what are the words
we're attempting to share

Well done, and thought-provoking... I especially liked, "Why after death there's still changing seasons..." Good work!
