I was under the weather, And I wasn't gettin' better, So I went for a physical check. And when I got to the doc It was a heck of a shock, He said, "Toe you are a miserable wreck!" He said, "Your liver's all folded, And your stomach's gotta hole in it, From drinkin' too much for too long, And that's a good indication You got bad circulation Cuz your blood flow is almost gone. And you've got no reflexes In your solar plexes When I tap you on the top of your knee, And your pulse ain't steady And your lungs are gettin' ready To collapse every time that you breathe. At the rate your going, And all tests are showing That Toe you'll never live to grow old! So I've come up with a plan To get you healthy again, But Toe ya gotta do what you are told!" And then he told me if I dig it...don't do it, And if I like it better leave it alone, And if it's too much fun That ought to warn ya son, That you're probably doin' something that's wrong. And I'm surprised at you, At all the things that you do, Cuz that aint what your body is for, And if you think it's bad so far, Wait till ya hear this part, Cuz the doctor said a whole lot more. He said to cut out that boozin' And quit them drugs ya been usin' And don't ya be smokin' them cigga-rettes, And ya know the love of a stranger, Might put ya in danger, Yes, it's like playin Russian Roulette! And get that grease out your diet, better boil it...not fry it, Don't ya eat you no more barbecue, I wouldn't tell ya no lie, So let these rules apply, And this is what you better do; If ya dig it...don't do it! And if ya like it better leave it alone, And if it's too much fun, That ought to warn ya son, That you're probably doin' something that's wrong, And if it's too good to ya Now don't let that fool ya, Cuz you're playin' in the danger zone, And I kept waitin' and waitin' For the SOB to finish, But the sucker just went on and on and on... Toe doing what he is told??? This must be a new doctor that doesn't know you well? LOL. Thanks for the grins... my attitude needed them to be healthy again! *G* An excellent Toeragging job!!!! By the way... that last line just cries for comment... *EG* But LJA would fuss and Nan would ban me... so I'll just sit here quietly and polish my halo! LOL |
