Many days I have spent in endless dreams Where nothing is ever quite as it seems, Reality there plays no part at all, No boundaries no borders no doors or walls, The drumming I hear is the beat of my heart, It's rhythm the future the past and the start. I am dreaming of places that I need to see, And am asking the question; Am I really free? But should I one day step into my dream And bid my good byes to all that has been, Erect my old tent in new fields of blue, Embrace light and color of a different hue. I'll shed a few tears as I look back again To who I once was or perhaps might have been. Should this day ever be, has come and has gone, I'll have crossed that river...the Rubicon. |

This is marvelous! There is a poem of Balladeer's that explains why your poems always catch my eye. I will wait for quality instead of quantity! Great job, Wolfgang! |
