Some days the darkness sits on you, Like grass when wet with morning dew. The darkness seeps from deep inside, And leaves you on a great divide. The mixed up feelings you possess, The dark and pain cause much distress. You fight against the dark and swear. You feel alone and in despair. As darkness seems to hang around, Your happiness cannot be found. I will be there my friend, in plight, To help you with the dark you fight. No matter what and through it all, For you, I'll be there when you call. You have this darkness, I see through, To find this love and warmth in you... I've seen it in you from the start, The love you hold within your heart. This gentle side I see from you, Shows warmth and care in things you do. Compassion, Strength and wisdom too, Strong qualities I find in you! You're warm and caring to a friend, A heartfelt thanks do I extend. I'm glad to have you as my friend, And I will love you with no end! |
